    Hardware nand restore issue

    If my nand is backup by using Decrypt9 or Hourglass9, Can I just restore it by using hardmod? The nand size is not the same(d9 backup is about 1.2gb, hardmod 1.84gb). Will it destroy my 3ds? thanks!
