Ok, I managed to get it installed. I was originally selecting IOS36 from the menu but when I tried IOS249 it worked. BUT I'm still getting a disk read error 1051 when I try to load backup from disc. It was an iso that was verified as working for other people, I burned it with IMGburn at 4x...- ponytailjones

Hacking Need help with cIOS38-rev14 Installer
I followed xzxero's 4.2 guide without any issues. But When I load NeoGamma R8 Beta 17 to play a game from disc I get an error 'Your cIOS has revision 17' and advised 13 or 14 is required for best compatibility.
