Suggestion Add ability to embed .webm files

Only reason why people don't care about webm is because they haven't heard of it yet. It's a massive improvement over animated gifs. Now, there's people that don't care about animated gifs either, and that's fine, but we'd all benefit from webm.

    GCN Viper GC sold anywhere?

Yea, exactly. The XenoGC is a decent drive chip. It doesn't offer the same functionality as the Viper or Qoob, but those are next to impossible to find nowadays.

    Hardware GBA Backlight! (AGB-001)

Dang, zerey is sold out of the glass lenses right now, so if any have any to spare, I'd buy one from you. Oh man, this looks gorgeous. I'm about to get rid of my backlit spice gba, and make an all black gba, hopefully with a set of black buttons from wiggy (and bumpers and shoulder buttons...

GCN best place to get a Xeno GC chip?

I bought mine off of a guy over on assembler forums. Here's the link: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?35506-Gamecube-XENO-modchips-10USD-Shipped $10 shipped. He ships from australia, but it arrived here pretty fast.

A dremel will do the trick just fine. But if you don't happen to have one (you should though... very handy for other stuff), then a cheap hobby knife like a x-acto knife should do the trick.

Man, I'm tempted to get a few more screens and cables to modify some friend's gba. But this time I'll probably deal with zerey directly as opposed to going through an agent through taobao. If only he sold on ebay... :O

Gaming Recommended component temperatures in situations?

If you're using the stock heatsink for your cpu, then 70C is fine. It's a bit on the high side, but stuff like ambient temperature may bring that up as well. I wouldn't worry too much, unless your processor starts reaching 90C. But if it gets that high, its likely that the heatsink isn't seated...

Gaming A Game Boy Advance 1:1 clone with extras.

This is the first that I've heard that the screen is actually slightly taller than the standard gba sp. I just figured that they bought up a ton of gba sp replacement shells and put the hardware into that, but I guess not.

This is the best I got (pic from an iphone). Click the pics for larger versions. And this is how it looked connected while I was testing the screen:

Yea, I saw that, but the translation of the page indicated that it was not compatible with the backlit screen. I dunno, maybe google translate was off or I'm misinterpreting it, but that's what it sounded like.

Yea, what this ribbon cable is, is essentially an extension cable for the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable on the gba sp screen comes out of the bottom, and would be too short to reach the connecter in the og gba. Also, there's a seperate wire that breaks out from the extension that powers the...

Gaming A Game Boy Advance 1:1 clone with extras.

This reminds me, I wish I could get my hands on a G6 again. Had one a couple of years ago before slot 1 flash cards became viable for the DS, and I really miss it. I'm stuck with an EZFIV for my gba, but I'd seriously rather have a G6 again.

FYI, the knockoff shells come with triwing screws and even the sticker with the serial numbers on them. They also feel like the real thing. I bought two orange cases a while back, and they're pretty solid. I got my screen and cable in two days ago, and just had time to install it. Looks great...

You can buy a replacement screen cover on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=gba+screen+cover&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Man... that looks excellent. It'll probably be a while before mine will show up in the mail though. I ordered the 40 pin cable and screen. If that doesn't work out for me, I'll just order a complete one from him directly.
