If your talking about the choke on the D+ D- lines this should have continuity Just above the M92T36 is a dual P channel mosfet (6 pin) can you test what voltage you have on pin1 with the charger connected

Do you have the same voltages on pins 21/22/23 of M92T36 since you changed it What voltage do you have on pin 28 of M92T36 with the charger connected, can you test this pin for a short to ground aswell.

So both M92T36 had low voltage on the mosfet gate pin 21

I can't think of any thing else that could be causing this only that the M92T36 is faulty, did you have the same problem with the M92T36 that you removed?

Can you test voltage on the LDO pins 38,39, and 40 with the charger plugged in and test these for a short to ground.

Between the 2 mosfets above the usb port is a big cap and a small one can you test the big cap for a short to ground Also next to pin 21 of M92T36 is a resistor can you check the resistance of that

Can you test what voltage you have on pin 5 of M92T36 with the charger plugged in.

Try running your soldering iron over pins 21 22 23 to make sure you have good joints check to make sure you dont have continuity between pin 21-22 and pin 22-23

Thats where your issue is you should have about 20V on pin 21 and about 15V on pin 22, if you have changed the M92T36 check you dont have any solder bridges around these pins and check that they are soldered on well, can you check what resistance to ground you have on the 2 pins.

What voltage do you have on pin 22 and pin 21 of M92T36 still with the charger plugged in

What voltage do you get on pin 9 of M92T36 again with the charger connected

What voltage do you get on pin 1 of BQ24193 with the battery plugged in and the nintendo charger plugged in

Hardware Switch V1 no USB data activity issue (everything else works - dock, charge, etc)

If the usb controllers damaged you usually get low resistance to ground on the datalines.

If it works then its fine, sometimes with the fault you've had it damages the usb controller in the SOC.

The 6 pin IC is a ESD protection device texas instruments TPD2E1B06 or equivalent You can get away without using one but you obviously loose the protection the device offers. Have you tested what resistance to ground you get on the 2 datalines at the points on the topside of the common mode choke?
