    I see, well when it arrives in the next week I will check out the sound slider. Hopefully it is as simple as that and I can swap it out for the one I have on the other broken ds.

    I just bought a 3ds off ebay, everything is working but the speakers. This of course got me a good buy, $45 cad. Now I'm just wondering what type of hardware issue it might be having because the headphone jack doesn't work as well. I have another broken 3ds at home, Torn top screen flex...
