    That is correct yes, any mon you catch in this mod will be illegal outside of that save due to being caught in a different place and at a different level than expected as well as other factors like moves and abilities.

    The next update will come out when the next major stable PKNX update drops that allows us to more easily do such things as edit overworld encounters and fix some minor glitches with our first release.

    Have you tried using a sun stone? As stated in our documentation, we changed Eevee's evolution methods to all be VIA stones and only stones, so if a sun stone still doesn't work then there is absolutely a problem, but based on your report it looks like the mod is functioning as intended.
