    Great but now the problem is I've tried 3 x sd cards... 2 x 128GB ones forcefully formatted to fat32 using easy partition doodad and set them to primary not logical. And the 4gb sd that came with it not one is playing ball. Is there a specific way to format them on the PC? specific cluster...

    I did but powering on I can see that it doesn't read the SD card and pressing A after a minute or two does nothing. (I believe it's supposed to shutdown the 3DS?) Further more if I try and power it on without an SD card in it just turns off. Strange...

    Yeah I wish it was that simple ha ha, I can't boot without an SD in therefore can't format the system and putting ARM9LoaderHax.bin on the root of 4 different SD cards hasn't worked at all... I'm open to other suggestions.

    I'll be honest Arkansaw I'm not sure what that means? RE Win32. when I restore my image I only have one solid partition, I'm not sure if that's correct though. I've found an old copy of the guide so I'm going to flip through that and see where it gets me. Will report back when I get home from work.

    Well sadly injecting my SydNAND-A9LN.bin and then copying my sd card files back didn't work. Is that the bin that we think I should be using? Maybe EmuNAND-Formatted.bin is the one I should be using. Argh. I'm sure I'm not the first person that's followed plailect's guide and wound up losing...

    On the contrary I think my mistake was not imaging the whole sd. looking at guides here for the 3ds cfw and moving to a bigger sd card etc. everybody seems to reccomend USB Image Tool? Which images the entire thing.. hindsight is a wonderful thing aye? :p Thanks again for the support g'night...
