    Outstanding, thanks to both of you. This was doing my head in, I just could not see how it was done. Since I already extracted the Game Code, I can just add and enumerator for the last character and this will give me the region. //Paddy

    ROM Hack How can you detect the region in a rom file

    Does anyone know how you can read the region from within a ROM binary. I know that ndstool does this, but I can't find anywhere in the rom that specifies this.
