    gate with area with merchant and a bridge to cabin on the other side of it did you reset after each try? it seems to be important also open invertory only right after the gate, don't open it before entering the gate auto there are 5 ashley traps on the chicken farm side

    59 blocks separate re4 save (nintendont save image file G4BE.raw) if it won't crash on invertory open then it is worth to try to run to the cabin, it can crash on cutscene if not, then reset the game through game menu (start button) and load from title screen

    wild guess: could it be that on some occasions game tries to allocate more memory than usual and fails due to nintendont presence? i will try to play it usual way to see will it crash or not, maybe my wii is faulty which i highly doubt, but who knows

    ok, i tried a different (omg) device it's iodd, i bet you have no idea what it is, it is optical drive emulator i mounted virutal removable hdd with re4 on it and plugged into wii tried the cabin fight a few times, it didn't crash any other suggestions? did we solve it?
