Seems like [email protected] is dead as of FW 9.3.0-21 it only works if it doesn't have a password set, same as attwifi :(

It can't, I actually use MACycle to change the MACs and Connec8 to change the SSID if I need to, just run Connec8 to setup your hotspot and then run MACycle
The same happened to me and I had to modify the INF files of the toshiba driver (tosrfusb.inf) to include the device ID of my Bluetooth device. Then unistall the device and then choose to install the device using the folder of the Toshiba BT stack
Tested on both Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 8 64-bit, both in spanish. Virtual Router didn't work because my OS language is not english so I used Connec8. These are the steps I took to make it work:
Spoof MAC using MACShift (macshift -i "device-name" <MAC>)
Create a Hotspot using Connec8...
OMG it worked, 10 streetpasses!!!
I'm in Windows 8 64-bit, I used MacShift and Connec8 (DOS client) http://connec8.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the guide!!!
Sometime ago I used inSSIDer to check for Wifi networks and free channels, if someone can get close to a nintendo zone and wants to check their MAC address they can use this software

I'm sure you can do this with backtrack, but i don't know if it...
I advise you to use your Acekard on your DS Lite, the battery of the 3DS doesn't last very much, especially when using flashcarts. You will enjoy much more play time on your old DS Lite :)
Digital download is good for countries where the games are overpriced and the retailers *never* cut the prices down, so one can get a game at the same price as USA (cheaper than my country) and also get it instantly (no need to wait for shipping) and also saving money on shipping, too.
But...
Works like a charm.
Updated from 3DS 1.1.0-1U
Acekard 2i HWID: 81
Then the Acekard 2i shows as Chessmasster from Ubi, now updating 3DS to 2.0.0-2U
EDIT: Updated 3DS to 2.0.0-2U and Acekard 2i works!!!
