    Can you use an xbox 360 controller on pc without adapter?

    Needs a receiver as it doesn't use a standard bluetooth. You can disconnect the ring of light from a old 360 and splice a usb cable to it then use it on pc. or you could on Vista and XP. Sync the controller first. Or buy a wired controller

    I'm Amy from UK. I don't do this stuff much nowadays but I like to stay up for days on speed and mess around with various electronics more than the average person does. i.e building pc's, rooting android phones, fixing xbox controllers, flashing xbox 360 DVD drives (still got all the gear)...
