    per the nintendo website, the switch 2 can read videos and images from a normal micro SD card. so it can parse data from a normal micro SD stock. IF on the unlikely chance there happens to be a softmod available, i don't think the exploit would require you to have a microSD express card...

    this is what i'm hoping for, i think updating the console when softmods weren't really a thing on switch 1 is just asking for issues later on.

    i honestly think you shouldn't even install the day 1 update if you want a chance at hacking this thing. if you want to update to enjoy your games then go ahead and play it. however, nintendo is well aware of the previous wii U/switch 1 exploits and they will do everything they can to prevent it...

    there's a video going around of the initial setup, apparently you can set it up without connecting to the internet but many features don't work. still super promising for future exploits.
