Yes, i'm trying to rip the textures and put them back in, I would like to make my own tool to do so to get more comfortable with modding and i already know C/C++, but i don't know where to start or what to do exactly to understand how they store the textures.
I'm using noesis texture finder and i'm working with a propietary format (.GCM) someone told me some parts of the image are scattered around the file and might be compressed in different ways. The file doesnt contain only the image, but also game data and meshes.
I've been trying for days and i don't know how to continue, i'm pretty new with this types of things.

Is there any way to find the correct pallette too?
I usually focus on the story first, then i complete the game 100%.

Pretty much, sometimes i don't wanna play and when i do, i don't know what to choose and the game turns out to be boring.
