    I tried OSU2 and even OSU3 on a flash drive and it immediately fails at 1 percent with the E101. I am stumped. Old HD was for sure dead as it won't even spin up externally. I think it is because the XBOX registering with latest update and I can't get it to load a recovery.

    I loaded the latest OSU1 from the link you mentioned that referenced OG XBOX OSU1 and went to troubleshooting on XBOX and booted from that. Gets to 1 percent and fails to the system error E101. Drive is formatted as in the video. Could it be the firmware my OS is reporting is too new? OS version

    This latest 9 script you no longer have to do the OSU2 and 3 correct? Just load the OSU1 to flash?
