    man , you're really a life saver !! thaaaaaaaaaank youuuuuuuuuuu all i did is borrow a twin-head usb cable, that is meant to be used with usb drives, i connect the data head to the wii usb port closest to the edge and the power head to the other usb port, and woooohooo i've been playing for 3...

    yes, actually my usb drive doesn't have a separate power supply. but what i suppose is: either it runs or it doesn't at all (if wii power is less sufficient for it). am i wrong?

    Yes, usb loader is running off IOS 249

    PS: the wii-dead situation happens only when playing a game inside usb loader. doesn't occur when playing an original game.
