Hey,
I was scrambling and then I remembered that I did an older nand backup and put it on my PC. So I was able to just restore that, and then upgrade that. My backup saved me from having to create unique boots (0 & 1) with the tools. I never got a chance to fully look into how to handle the KEYS...
Hey all, so I messed up. After updating my OFW to 8.0.1 I wasn't able to use CFW until SXOS released their update today. So I updated and my sxos boot started working again but wasn't allowing me to get into emunand. So i went to restore my boot0 & boot1 not remembering that it was a backup from...
Hands down, this is one of your best options (and what I got).

it's short and does the job perfectly. Once you set it up the first time, all you do is plug both ends in and everything happens automatically...
No, by the sound and look of it, you are taking precaution.
1. In order to shield a Switch from receiving a console ban.
2. In order to shield an account from an account ban.
3. In order to hold out for:
A. More information on what exactly is being banned.
B. A way to switch from CFW to...
No games REQUIRE you to update in order to play. That's just not done as it would be useless to people without internet connections.

Thanks for a solid answer! You and the person above are probably spot on. Just realised that i played the game when it came out and had a save. I'm guessing the save is what's making it demanding a higher version. Thanks! Very good to know!

FINALLY someone who understands what I was saying, even though I tried to point it out like 4-5 times lol.
But my bigger question is why this game of all games, this is the first I've ever seen which absolutely MAKES you update it before you can play.

1. Bans are being reported for ppl who update roms.
2. Most importantly: NO GAME, should MAKE you update in order to play. As i said before, what if you are a person who bought the game and has no internet connection to update it... Your telling me that you bought a game that you can't play...
Ok let me try and break it down, i can not start the game without updating and I'm using SX OS, meaning i can't go online. There is no way to skip the update and start it anyway. I have never seen a game that doesn't let you start up the game without updating unless it is because your system...
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
