Same with the gba games tbh, but that's mostly because custom engines exist for emerald and fire red, the last hacks for ruby and sapphire were like....royal sapphire, ruby and sapphire cross? And I don't think there's been a leaf green hack...

Been a long while since I've seen ROM hacks of Diamond and Pearl. Most hackers shame these entries in favor of Platinum, so this is a neat change of pace.

Understandable, especially when one of these changes is making Glalie, an already very frail Ice type, into an Ice/Rock type, making it so it's weak to even more common moves lmao

Wouldn't this just end the secondary market? No more selling or lending games to friends and opens illegitimate account selling/trading on a larger scale as well as piracy.

There's no way to sell your games or get them second hand. This is why I am glad GKC exists. Full digital is worse.
