Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Wow. It works! I made it wireless, shared the connection, put the 3DS in sleep mode and 30 secs later - BOOM! If anyone is having problems with the Atheros AR9285 wireless card with Win 7, you need to download driver version 10.0.0.75 from Atheros.cz, it's a Qualcomm driver. This will enable you...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Very strange, it's the green light I've been looking out for, like you naturally would! Ok, it seems I'm almost there! Well done though! Succeeding despite adversity!

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Really? I've only just got around to reinstalling the drivers that allow me to do this so I will have another go with it today. Perhaps I need to concentrate on the bit after this, making sure the shared connection is doing its job. Also with this arrangement were you doing it wired or wireless...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Honestly, I don't know. Maybe worth a punt unless anyone else can advise otherwise. A shot in the dark is the only hope i've got for getting this to work for me i think. I've spent a week trying to configure every possible permutation but to no avail  I've installed and checked almost...

I believe XP pro is the only XP edition to use those commands. Similarly windows 7 starter doesn't use them either.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I forgot to mention that it was this last set of XP drivers that allowed me to restart the hosted network but substituted the first digit of the MAC address.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Sorry I think our wires got crossed somewhere! The first two digits for my wireless card, by default, are 00. Are you saying that your card actually started 02 so you were able to change it? If so, how and why? I actually downloaded every set of XP drivers I could find from atheros.cz and found...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I'm doing this on a laptop. I wonder if it is a hardware limitation (I've got an Atheros wireless card)??

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

THIS^^^ So frustrating. I've spent days going round in circles trying to get this to work. Virtual adapter just won't start or work unless the mac address of the wireless card is changed back to default or to not present. I hope i can get this to work. I may try the Ubuntu suggestion though...

Tutorial Chaldron's MAC Cycler for Windows

I don't know why i wrote that! I CAN change the MAC of the Wireless adapter (Wi-Fi) but it stops the virtual adapter, and it can't be started again unless the MAC of the wireless adapter is set to default or not present.

Tutorial Chaldron's MAC Cycler for Windows

Hi everyone, I've been trying to set this up for 2 days straight without much success. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium and followed the instructions for setting this up on a laptop with a built-in Atheros AR9285 wireless card. The problem I am having is that when I change the MAC address of...
