    I believe most people would be willing to pay for downgrading. Getting OoT+Powersave is a around 40 bucks entry that not everyone is willing to pay since they have no use for those after a downgrade. Meaning: If the downgrade service costs 20 bucks, I can see why people would do it.

    How to switch to a bigger sd card is covered in the OP under "How to move Games, Saves, Themes, and Emunand to a new SD card". I believe even 2GB is enough to setup everything but you can install basically nothing with that. The emunand partition is about 1gb for and old 3DS.

    They are probably safer but you would have to wait. And probably buy the gateway card, we dont really now how their downgrading process is going to work. So you could just enjoy your sky3ds and sell it when it downgrading with gateway comes available.

    I use MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Did you setup menuhax in emunand? That will cause problems. Go into emunand -> hbl -> menuhax manager and delete the extdata Never had this problem. Did you unlink your nands?
