    I've tried several, but most of them are said to be working on models up to 1.5. The Evox M7 BIOS is what I used.

    Perhaps my modchip is dead. I ran the tool to verify the data integrity and it passed. Switches look OK, I checked the official XBit's manual from an archive of the defunct site and I think I'm doing everything right. :(

    But if it's a second bios, that would mean that the Xbox would still display the System Error code when the modchip is connected? In my case the modchip causes the console to FRAG with no video output.
