    Yes, you can. However, freeshop and similar software install the software in a "cleaner" way, so I'd stick with those instead of grabbing .cia's off of that site when possible. You can use JKSM to backup and restore saves.

    Try turning the system off, holding select, and pressing the power button. If you go to a config screen, you have a9lh. Otherwise, something went wrong.

    Yes, your 3ds is fine. Just drop all the files for luma on a new microsd. Your saves and games will be gone. Also, try cleaning off the contacts on the microsd with isopropyl alcohol and let it evaporate. I had something similar happen to a microsd I was using, but cleaning it off fixed it.

    They updated the home menu, doesn't that block hardmod downgrades as well? Iirc the downgrade can only change native firm, and now the home menu won't match, meaning that a downgraded 3ds will brick (although a hardmod is required anyway, so it's fixable).

    There are some issues, such as slower load times in some cases and a few CIA managers crashing with SD cards greater than 99 gigabytes. However, the slowdown isn't really that bad and only happens in a few places, and FBI handles large cards just fine.
