    Whenever I get his problem I turn off and turn back on my r4, then when selecting a game I hold "a" instead of letting it go until the game starts.

    FOUND THE ANSWER! When at the menu and lounching the game, when you press "A" to chose the game. Dont let go of it until the "loading..." screen is gone and the game lanches.
