    I don't trust myself after what happened, my iron is really old and it has a really wide chisel tip which is already the thickness of the SMD. Just to make sure, the WiFi SOC is the one right above the NAND SOC underneath the EMF shield right? It's hard to tell whether I damaged the resistor...

    Its the New 3ds, The WiFi chip is directly soldered to the board and I don't have a reflow oven to reflow the damaged resistor array.

    Ok, I've come to the conclusion that the resistor array i soldered together by accident has destroyed the WiFi functionality. The MAC address of the device shows up as all zeros and when I turn WiFi on, the device crashes. Rip me.

    Is the screen clipped on or glued? I don't want to damage he screen by taking it off the case

    I used a Transcend sd card reader but I'm not too sure what chip it uses. I'll check the top screen assembly tomorrow. Hope it works o7
