Sorry my description yesterday was a bit vague - when you remove the faceplate of the 360 there is a green cable that runs from the faceplate to the 360 its this one that i have broken....
Due to my level/confidence with the installation of items to the console - upon a little more research the Xkey is defo the way for me to go. The R-JTAG looks a little to complex for me.

Guys - always been a wii man but with the price of second hand 360's being fairly low in the UK at the moment I am thinking about picking one up in order to potentially mod it and play games off of an external USB HDD.
Any specific 360 model I should be looking at getting?

Morning all - having an odd spell....
Am putting new files on my drive via WBM (LLOTR, PES13, Epic Mickey 2) when I fire up wiiflow its not seeing the new files?

I googled "Neo Geo bios files" managed to get a zip from the top link "rom-world" I think. Unzipped the file, dropped them loose into the roms folder and boom I'm playing KOF97 before you know it
Sorry for such a lengthy delay in my reply, especially as you took time out to try and help me with my issue.
System info screen tells me I'm running System Menu V4.2E on IOS70.
Formatted the whole drive as FAT32, wii backup manager made the /wbfs folder. I copied a game in to check it works and I'm still getting the same error message:- WBFS_Open failed: -1

Copied a couple of games over just to test that my wii sees it and is able to fire up a game.
When wiiflow fires up I get the message :- WBFS_Open failed: -1
I'm starting to lose my rag with trying to down load this program - I click the download link and then get prompted to down load "ilivid" and then nothing....
