    I'm in the same situation as the others for my DSTWO+ and an old 3ds XL. Can the original DSTWO firmware update (1.25) actually update the DSTWO+, or would it risk bricking it?

    Funnily enough, I've found this helpful 8 years later... unfortunately I'm unwilling to give this a try as it risks bricking the flashcart... and they're worth $200+ now. Sigh.
