Ah, that's very helpful, thanks. Judging by his tear-down explanation I may have been mistaken about which part of the arm contained the magnet, so I've edited my post to avoid any confusion.
Unfortunately I didn't document my own repair, but I'll try my best.
UPDATE: While AKNES are supposedly revising the product - and other users in the thread are exploring less destructive solutions to the problem - I would advise taking a wait and see approach over rushing into following this...
Mine were also both clicking, which I noticed was accompanied by a "lurch forward" on the calibration screen every time I heard it - so I completely opened them up to find out what was going on.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
