    Excellent guide! I've already softmoded my wii with a old guide by xzxero. Yesterday, I got my cousin wii... It's 4.1u and I'll update to 4.2. I'm confused now, after update, I'll need do the part "Installing a Trucha'd IOS into slot 236" or it's only for 4.3 wii's? Thanks!

    Noob questions: I just want play emulators, can I only install the homebrew channel? Without trucha, can I install official wads? Is there any chance to brick? (I'll do ONLY these things on my wii and I don't want do big changes in my nand, like bootmii and priiloader)
