No, I mean the CETK decryption broke. I really ought to replace that by now, but for now you can still use an old firmkey.bin, and everything else will work.

Welp, I guess that broke again with SigHax. Makes sense since FIRM0 is empty. I don't look forward to fixing that, but I'll try to get at it as soon as I can. Thanks for the report.

Heh, you got that right, @Crystal the Glaceon. So, just a small heads-up that I just published a new build. It isn't really anything new, just a small update to support sighax. As usual, you can get it here: http://ny1.hashbang.sh:8834/nightly/Cakes_197.zip Next thing on the list is fixing...

I've just pushed a commit to support FIRM 11.4 on o3ds, I will do N3DS tomorrow, and release properly. I'm sorry it's taking so long, I don't have much time on my hands right now. Well, don't worry about it yourself too much, that's what I'm here for. If you still want to try and are...

I don't think they outright ban a country, just pick whatever server is closest to you or just connect via webchat: https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#Cakey

The gist of it is: You decrypt the FIRM you downloaded from the CDN (CakesFW gives you a decrypted copy as firmware_unsupported.bin), then you get the first 0x10 bytes of the hash of the first section as according to this, which means bytes 0x50-0x60 in a hex editor. That's just to make Cakes...

I've been made aware of the 11.4 update. I will update CakesFW later today.

Apparently there's no changes required for svcBackdoor.cake to work in 11.3, at least for o3ds. https://transfer.sh/Rki6s/svcbackdoor.cake It's untested on n3ds, but I expect it to work. Try this file: http://chunk.io/f/014612541fa04235a6f7593c86a4a200.3dsx It's an older version that apparently...

I finished updating it: http://ny1.hashbang.sh:8834/nightly/Cakes_190.zip You'll need to grab the newest NATIVE_FIRM from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mid-kid/CakesForeveryWan/master/firmurls and place it in the cakes directory. Hold "L" while starting up your console to enter the CakesFW...

I feel the need to point out that it was originally the other way around (with rxTools and someone else being the original sources), but those in Luma have been adapted to reboot into the CFW payload instead of a patched FIRM like mine do. I don't see any recent changes in their reboot patches...

I've been made aware of the 11.3 FIRM update. You can expect a new nightly that addresses this issue within the next 24 hours.

Builds probably failed on the host, I will be fixing that and providing the latest nightlies (though, they were just CakeBrah updates iirc).

I'm sorry for making you people worry. I wasn't exactly busy, I just didn't feel like doing much at all for a while. I'm happy to see there's still people that use CakesFW, despite me suddently going missing for a while, and not keeping up with a lot of promises I've made. It boosts my...

The "NCSD" is exactly what cakes looks for, and, no, wolfvak didn't port the instructions correctly. To completely replicate what the dd command does: start at 0x200, replace the 0x200 bytes that follow it with 00. Either that, or replace "NCSD" with "PENIS" or something. EDIT: I was assuming...

Formatting an sd card does not remove all the data on it. The NCSD header from an old rednand seems to still be present in the second sector. To clear it, you could try either removing the "NCSD" at 0x300 from the start of your SD with a hex editor, or clear the whole second sector using for...
