Homebrew Question External Hard Drive For SX OS
Be sure you used separately powered USB drive. Not different between used 2.5/3.5", but you must always used external power for this disk. You can used powered USB Hub. Some usb drive used high power and usb port at switch cant juice this hdd.- MatkoPucik

With SX OS installer App it is possible. auto With SXOS Installer App it's possible. i think SX Installer is fork from Tinifoil, so maybe it's also possible with this homebrew app.- MatkoPucik

Hacking nintendo switch external hard drive support
yes, i already have plugged 3TB powered external harddrive via USB to dock. Also, i tried USB-C m.2 NVME enclosure with 1TB ssd inside. Switch can't hold stable connection (ssd still restart), but if i plugged through powered usb hub, SX OS installer can install games and play fine from this m2...- MatkoPucik
