Is there a way to "force quit" safely or is the only option to either wait it out or (preferably not) hard power it off

if the current hash is changing but not the expected (it got to the exefs after the extension) after about 30+ hrs is it most likely dead?

Does it repack from both the "Engine" and "[Codename]" folder, or just the data in the Engine folder
