Homebrew Homebrew game GTA: San Andreas - Switch port

I tried experimenting with the settings - I set the drawing distance and resolution to the lowest, and turned off the PS2 filters. Crashes when pausing now occur much less often. I am speculating here, but I assume that the crashes are most likely related to memory exhaustion. I experienced...

Homebrew Homebrew game GTA: San Andreas - Switch port

performance is awesome! with overclocking I get solid 60 fps everywhere Here are some bugs I found: 1) When making a bet at "Inside Track", and choosing a number of money to bet ($5 or $100 or $1000 and so on) - you can't activate that button by pressing "A". It is only activated with touch...

Love it, thank you for the great work! Does it mean that ports of GTA 3/ Vice City Android versions are possible too? (ignoring the fact that re3/reVC exist)

Hacking Hardware Software-only MLC restore from original Wii U backup? (No soldering/redNAND)

TL;DR: Is it possible to restore a Wii U's MLC using an original, clean NAND dump strictly via software? Is there an option to restore the MLC without resorting to a hardware mod or redNAND? Context: I own a Japanese-exclusive Joysound Festa unit (essentially an 8GB Wii U console bundled with a...

Hardware DSi Region Lock: Why two identical consoles behave differently

Consoles that do run cartridges: Japanese: 1.4J European: 1.4.5E Console that doesn’t run cartridges: Japanese: 1.4.5J European 1.4.5 doesn’t seem to have region lock, while the Japanese 1.4.5 does. Downgrading might fix this on a Japanese console, but I’m not sure if it’s even possible to...

Hardware DSi Region Lock: Why two identical consoles behave differently

If I install Twilight Menu, will it change how the console works when I’m in stock mode? Like, if I go back to the regular DSi menu after installing Twilight, could it make the console region-free?

Hardware DSi Region Lock: Why two identical consoles behave differently

The DSi is said to be the only region-locked console in the DS family. I decided to test this myself and got some mixed results. There aren’t many DSi-exclusive cartridges to try, but I have two DSi XL Demo Video cartridges. I tested them on three different DSi XL/LL consoles: European DSi XL...
