Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

You won't find ModMii on the HomeBrew Channel, it is an app for your Windows PC, which sets up the .wad files you need to install to your Wii... You can get the details of ModMii from this forum thread: http://gbatemp.net/t207126-modmii-for-windows

The homebrew app boots the channel from the NAND without requiring the user to go to the real System Menu to access it.

Why not just install the official (current) Netflix channel? There's a homebrew available in the HBB list called "Boot Netflix" (which is based of off the "Boot Opera") which runs from the HB channel screen... (I have both the "Boot ..." hb's on my HDD, and they work flawlessly...)

Lol, is there an app like that to fix the "red and green blob" problem with a classic CRT? (I have a Philips Magnavox 27" that is dying a slow painful death...)

Until I started using ModMii (during the past month), I had never even heard of SNEEK... I have been using CFG for nearly 2 years, and totally love it.

Most games take only 1 to 5 save blocks. But as I said, there are many out there that take large amounts. My Wii has < 50 blocks free, which is why I am looking for an alternative to constantly moving from the NAND to SD to free up space, then move back again when I want to play the game... I...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

FYI, the Wii's NAND is only 512MB, a VERY limited amount. Some games use 30+ "blocks" (how that translates to MB I do not know). In particular: Sims 3: 33 blocks, Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics: 96 blocks, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: 128 blocks. It would be useful for ANYONE who has more than 20...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Ok, so what you are saying is, that even though the Mighty Channels app can provide a "virtual" NAND for VC and WiiWare apps, it cannot be done for real games? Even with all the super-genius coders here (oggzee, WiiPower, Davebaol, xFlak, waninkoko, etc - many others whose names I have not...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Ok, I've got a question that may or may not have already been discussed: Is there any way for a game to access save data that is stored on either the SD card or USB drive instead of only from the Wii's internal NAND? (I ask because my Wii's NAND was down to < 50 blocks free while my 4gb SDHC...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

This has probably been asked before, and I'll probably sound like a total noob for asking, but why are there so many different IOS slots/bases? Why not just one primary that gets occasionally updated, with "backwards compatibility" so that older games still run with the updated version? (The...

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii or WiiU: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Slim, I like to tweak things, but only when I am certain I can do it without "breaking" it. It's one thing to screw up my PCs, I can fix them very easily. But I am very worried about screwing up our Wii... I have PC's that run Linux just so I can futz around with them (and I regularly do...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Ok, it's open source. I have not seen where to download the source... And even if I had the source, I would not know where to find the functions for the cheat codes quickly... I was simply asking if he could post the part where it reads the codes and where it cancels the process if there are...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Just wondering if you noticed my question regarding games with "Too many cheat codes"... Why does it freak if the number of codes is >256? Out of curiosity, how do you try to store the code data when the .txt file is read? Using arrays or structures? If you don't mind sharing that part of...
