ROM Hack [Release] Pictlogica Final Fantasy ENG translation

I also appreciate the translation but there are some other typos too like in the Collection menu, Achievement is misspelt on the bottom screen. Edit: Stage 11-2 is misspelt Mesrmerize Edit 2: Lightning's Level 7 ability Protectra says Rise instead of Raise. Protectra is also not translated...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Well, I'm not sure exactly what fixed it but this step seems to have finally made the game display properly this time! Thanks for going through all these steps with me!

I will do that in a minute but I forgot to set 16:10 in the options. After doing this and selecting Super Mario 64 DS, a message on the bottom said "Failed to Backup Custom TwlBg" MD5 Checksum is AF04ADDC8AAFDBBD1057361376AB5D86

Completely reinstalled (got the popup asking which DS model I was using and all the intro videos), still have stretched widescreen :(

How does one fully uninstall TWiLight Menu++?

Still nothing, however applying the widescreen cheat from here https://gbatemp.net/threads/widescreen-cheats-for-ds-games-on-3ds.543212/ to the ROM manually has made the game display properly for me so the cheat just isn't applying for some reason normally.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

No change in image unfortunately. I've noticed going back to that folder after loading the game the wideCheatData.bin file disappears.

Just double checking, by dummy do you just mean a blank text file renamed to that?

Inside "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap" are two folders "fatTable" and "patchOffsetCache". I don't see a "wideCheatData.bin". Inside "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu" I see a folder called "widescreen" with files in it like "A4PE-5B28.bin"

The updater isn't showing the release version with a green icon but it does have the nightly with a green icon, should I download that? Also now downloading the above updated TWiLight Menu++

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Updated to latest Luma, had no effect. Basically what I am seeing is the equivalent of the second image in this post rather than the proper third image https://gbatemp.net/threads/sharp-ds-i-mode-scaling-filters.542694/page-26#post-8752132

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I've followed these steps in the first post 100%, all files are in the correct location and I have the latest TWiLight Menu++ according to the updater It does seem I have Luma 9.1 though so I'll update to the latest version and get back to you although I'm not sure how that would effect...
