    so it boots without the sd card? try replacing the boot.firm file (grab it from the .zip on their github) if this doesn't help it could be an issue with the sd itself, test it for issues

    you are following https://3ds.hacks.guide correct? if you are attempting to follow a video guide, dont. video guides may be outdated, poorly made or missing info you shouldn't need to open the boot9strap file on your computer, the 3ds will run this to install the custom firmware.
