I remember seeing a modified design of this with pins to push into the other side but wasn't able to find it. I could get it working since the printer I'll be able to use is a resin printer, but it's far from ideal and something better would be immensely helpful.
Oh! That's interesting!
I'd love to see the model once you've refined it and feel comfortable sharing it :)
I had actually found one model that I was uncertain around whether it would work too well, since it has nowhere to attach to itself and seems to require gluing...
That's interesting, but it looks like she may have herself used a resin 3D Printer, and it's not much of a lead here ^^;
Very intriguing though, was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to do the work myself though since I don't own a printer for test prints to go about it myself with ^^;
I mean, it's possible they make them themselves, but I'm also unsure.
I think something similar might be possible with resin printing but I also don't have a 3D Model to try it with. I might just have to get some of these at a markup honestly.
They all seem to have a the letters MMR scratched...
I'm really curious if it's possible to make a 3D printed DS shell. A family member of mine has a resin 3D printer, which I've heard are much more precise than filament and I was curious if anyone knew where I could find a model to print, or if it would even work.
I've seen some custom cart...

Thanks! It's great being here :3
Not sure if it'll show up when I send this, but I keep getting ads in my replies, so sorry just incase ^^;
Hi there, I'm LunarPurin!
I'm not exactly new around here, but I haven't actually done an introductory post, so I figured it'd be a good idea to post one :)
I'm a 22 year old dork and a big fan of anything Pokémon or Handheld consoles :3
I often post about silly little things I find on eBay...
They seem much more reasonable on the site mentioned by rahcchi
I instantly found a Pearl for $50-ish. Definitely seems like people overseas are more obsessed with their scarcity than those in the country.
They seem to float between $40 and $60 USD
Yeah, those are the ones I've seen around.
I'm pretty sure they're not actually worth that much, but low supply low demand kind of leads to these things sitting uncontested for some superfan or crazy person to buy up (Probably me if I get every other language before I find a reasonably priced...
Nah, was only able to find the slot 2 cart but had heard that many bootleg carts are actually cloned NCards
I've got one of them in transit at the moment, guess I've got nothing more to say than that I'll see how it goes :)
It's registering as a DS Option Pak
I don't have an N-Card slot 1 cartridge, only the slot 2
I'm guessing there's not much I can do to check if it works without an slot 1 cart, I've heard those Pokemon bootleg copies tend to be Ncard clones though
I see, forgive me if I'm stupid but it doesn't seem to be registering with my PC at all when the mini USB is connected.
Is there a program I need to run from my laptop to access it?
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
