    while this is true, you can backup imported games and remove region lock when converting to a .cia so it kind of is like having region unlock

    not trying to be a dick here but if you're willing to spend the money on importing games, maybe you should import a 3ds from that region as well instead of relying on people to hack the 3ds so you can play games you bought just my $0.02

    ninjhax does allow kernel access, just SMEA's version of it doesnt allow for kernel access or modification, someone would need to essentially reverse how the hack works and make it boot a CFW(which then could be region free or allow for unsigned 3ds roms to be loaded via .cia with the region...

    i buy games but if i had a gateway card id use the gateway card to play backups of the games i bought, heck thats what im doing with cfw right now
