My Wii Sports now works. The issue is that none of my games will load (i.e. black screen after selecting Start) if the wiird=1 option is set in my config.txt file. This used to work. My Wii Sports just stays at a black screen when using Cios 249 base 56 d2x v8. I can't seem to get it to work regardless of the IOS I select. Are there other settings that I need to set? I also reinstalled the game just to make sure the image on the USB drive wasn't corrupted.- live2play

I was using Cios 249 base 57 d2x v8 with no success. I'll give Cios 250 base 57 d2x v8 a try although I believe that it's just an IOS "slot" difference at that point, right?- live2play

When I start Wii Sports, I just get a blank screen. I have seen tips for getting Wii Sports Resort to work, but they don't make a difference for Wii Sports. Does anyone know how to get Wii Sports working with CFG?- live2play

I found the solution. Given that Gecko OS always requires the USB Gecko device to be in Gamecube memory slot A, I never tried slot B. Once I moved it to slot B, I was able to use WiiRD with CFG. Thanks for all of the responses to my questions.- live2play

I did the following and it still doesn't work. Any other ideas? 1) Start CFG. I'm running version 70r36. 2) Start WiiRDGUI. 3) Enable WiiRD in CFG System menu and save. 4) Start game with "Ocarina (cheats)" option set to On and Hook Type set to VBI and OSSleepThread.- live2play

Thanks again! Do you know how to have multiple versions of the same ISO in CFG? If I have two different ISOs for game A, only one of them is ever loaded regardless of which one I select in the CFG menu. Is this because of the GameID that is on the actual ISO needing to match the GameID in...- live2play

I went ahead and reinstalled the clean BC. Does there need to be a specific folder on my SD in order to use NMM that is included with DM(L) or is just enabling the NMM option for a game enough?- live2play
