    No worries. For the record, sometimes it's the PCB thats at fault....so often replacing the whole drive is the best solution unless you have a workshop full of spares.

    All those "fixes" are temperary and dont really fix the underlying issue. The only reall way to fix it on a permanent basis is to put the board back in an infra-red reflow oven and replace any upgrade the offending parts that caused it to overheat in the first place. It works a charm.
