Hardware GBA Project [Alpha Release] Celio-Link — Online Trading between Gen 3 Pokémon Games

I would love to port this to the MALVEKE Gameboy custom ESP32 module which already supports trading to Gameboy Gen 1/2 games with a custom GB/A EXT plug set up out of the box. I'm pretty sure this device could handle everything the web frontend here currently does, but would still need a...

This is an interesting chain of thought, but who are you defending and why? No action stands devoid of context. I feel a person reading every message in this thread without historical context would see this and move on to another project anyways to avoid the hassle. For every person posting...

Here is the direct link. I mistook "fork" for "copies". This appears to relate to the trademark enforcement litigation. Thank you for seeking clarification. I see you were there when it was written. Rehosting a GPL3 binary is not inherently illegal. If the state of the software leads to a...

If you look at Dave Murphy (WinterMute)'s personal blog, he uses dehumanizing metaphors that compare users of his software to animals -- specifically a herd of cats he is managing. I'm not sure he's seeing people anymore on the GitHub issues, just problems he's above solving. The calico and...

It doesn't matter who enabled what to me, honestly. I only care about who's doing the right thing. When DevKitPro pushed the recent, what was it, r21 update all macOS copies of NDS and GBA projects including their own examples would not compile on any Mac. It was pushed untested. A trivial test...

I've seen DevKitPro staff say on GitHub issues that other toolchains in the space are "illegal forks" (their words). The issue in question was removed when I went to find it to quote it. This begs the question of if they understand or respect FOSS ideals. This is also scary to see. From what I...

Investigate the history of FOSS inquiries against the organization and you'll understand what I mean.

    building devkitARM: calico

DevKitPro as an organization has not historically given value to neither data and tool archival nor supporting what they perceive as legacy code and libraries in favor of shipping up-to-date software and enforcing what they perceive as modern paradigms. It's great that you're archiving all this...

Hardware List of hardmod installers by region

@vb_encryption_vb I sent him a pretty roughed up, disassembled n3DS XL and I got it back, assembled, with a hardmod in about a week! All in all, very impressed. He went above and beyond in helping fix some broken ZIF connectors I broke. Definitely would recommend

No luck, just hangs at a white screen.

Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

I have one of these R4-SDHC cards that boots and works on a test DS Lite with this firmware (previously linked). I tried both the DSi mode and non-DSi mode CIAs, and the former crashes to a white screen but the latter shows the firmware loading logo before it hangs. Looks like it's close but...
