    You can use Citra to try it out, you copy the patched files to the citra mods folder for your game, or install a patched game in citra Im not entirely sure in terms of playing, but you can get a 100% save file and check all the outfits and such

    I believe the solution for this would be to change the version of the actual game, if you get the 1.0 version of pokemon X and make its version number 1.5 it wouldnt nag on you because its read as 1.5 instead of 1.0, though im not sure how this would impact other copies if you have them.

    The is the original patch somewhere thats just a few files and a readme, you have to dump the game and replace the internal files, i recommend you do this but dont rebuild the cia with it, and instead use layeredfs to load it.
