Do you mean you needed to try it multiple times? Or did you change something after getting the black screen?

Tutorial Backup/Restore your Nand + Get your biskeys+tseckeys+keys.txt Guide

I'm in the exact same situation, 5.1 and exFAT. Gonna try the older hekate later. edit: File structure looks exactly like in post #210 and I used hekate 3.2 and the linked SD files. Now I don't get an error, but instead only a black screen when opening kezplez. Other homebrew like tinfoil work...

Tutorial Backup/Restore your Nand + Get your biskeys+tseckeys+keys.txt Guide

The SD card format is exFAT and I used the included SD files to launch the CFW with the hekate payload. I get the same error with ReiNX and RajNX, though. I also tried moving the backed up data to another location. But the file structures root backup dump etc... and root dump etc...

I have the same problem, did you mange to solve it? I started out on 4.0.1 and updated to 5.1 with ChoiDujourNX. My SD Card (exfat) looks as follows: root Backup "letters and digits" dumps (fuses.bin ; kfuses.bin ; tsec_keys.bin) partitions (10 files total, including "system") pkg1...

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

It might work, but the guide suggests "the latest release of FBI". I would inject the newer release.

That is exactly what I mean. "negative nancy" and "blabbering" are hardly a sophisticated matter of speaking to someone. You have insulted me dear sir or madam and I demand an apology. However, I agree that further discussion in this thread is futile.

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

Many people become extremely defensive and start to call people lazy, afraid or even dumb Yes it is the best and safest, but it takes forever to set up. You will be sacrificing hours for an obsolete additional safety layer. How many locks does an iron door need? It boots faster and at 100%...

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

Why do so many people feel offended if someone expresses critical thoughts about A9LH? I would like to ask everyone to stop offending those who do not praise the allmighty A9LH god (by calling them "lazy" or "afraid"). Yes, it is safer, yes it is not difficult to set up and yes it takes a lot of...

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

No, there are not "many good reasons for A9LH". Decrypt9 boot before system boot and the patch-proof feature is of no use to anyone right now. Why? Because, right now, a plain old emuNAND is still safe. Installing A9LH is future proof, yes. However, until the old menuhax/emuNAND is no longer...

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

My statement was refering to using emuNAND, which I doubt will be patched anytime soon. It is true that A9lh is (as far as we know) not patchable. For the vast majority of CFW users A9lh does not offer anything useful other than faster boot times. It is (almost) impossible to brick a system...

Hacking Inexperienced, want to change from RXtools to Luma

A9lh isn't really that great right now. The only advantage you get is faster boot up times. It requires hours of preparation+work, but it is not worth it at this time. Using emuNAND with Luma is safe. It could change with future updates, but I doubt that Nintendo implements such radical changes...

Hacking Inject FBI to Health & Safety

That explains a lot. Good thing I restored my 9.2 and now it's time to move away from GW. Edit: rxtools 3b2 is not so bad, it managed to inject FBI into H&S on O3DS 9.2 emuNAND.

So it does work afterall, interesting. I only tried 2.5.2, 3.0b2 and the nightly linked above.

Hacking Inject FBI to Health & Safety

Minipasta works really well, I used it on an O3DS yesterday to install FBI. Worked like a charm. However, all of that doesn't help to get from 4.5 to 9.2. Doesn't really matter though, I don't think there are many people left on 4.5 that don't own a GW (and a 9.2 backup).
