    Just a smashed LCD and camera? Just swap them out for replacement parts online. Top screen is rough tho oof.

    what @kylum said, also booting from one sd card then swapping is in fact reseating the sd card so my thoughts are the same, either a weird bug like @kylum said or reader. Literally from a realistic standpoint it's one of two things, hardware or software and the only difference between your test...

    Nah, it's either a borked sd card or the reader is borked/dirty/not seated to the motherboard. I don't think it's the sd card since it booted once.

    Maybe see if the reader is seated all the way? It may be a new switch but if someone didn't put a clean sd card in it, it might not read......

    Patches come in ips format, it's for cia's and all. Mainly for 3ds consoles but you literally just make edits, make a patch by using your edited rom and a clean rom. You get a patch which is the difference between them. You apply said patch through the romfs/exe folder in citra/3ds. It applies...

    So that's old school, now we build patches so apply to games so you don't need to rebuild the whole thing or download a whole game, just patch it. You may need to update citra too fyi.

    It could happen from things like patching it then playing that mod with an update. Is the patch in the right folder?

    Sounds like you might need the latest update of the game? Or you are using different versions of updates which brakes it.
