    Yep. It certainly fixes the colour on the joycon animation but it doesn't fix the animation on the right joycon not triggering at all...

    Could be a bit difficult if you're not experienced with SMT/reflow soldering. You'll need a hot air rework station to replace the chip. There should be no harm in disconnecting the battery. To measure the M92T36 i'd strongly advise to disconnect the battery first anyways ;)

    If you're going to open up your console, measure the ceramic capacitors around the M92T36 against ground. If one or more are shorted to ground on both sides, you'll need to replace the M92T36. Disconnect the battery prior to measuring!

    I'm quite sure they don't measure fps and frame time on consoles via VFR... it should work by detecting duplicate frames.
