I'll be back on later, I'll try to find something that will allow us to trick that umd read, but I am betting it'll need another homebrew app development.
We want something that avoids loading off the memory stick, doesn't have to load the iso though.
If we can just get the psp to read a fake umd, as in what i posted earlier -- a virtual drive.
Well back on the topic of getting this game to work, is there any way to run virtual umd drive on a pc and routing it to the psp, tricking the system into thinking it has the umd.
So far it seems the check does two things, first it shuts down the memory stick, then it reads from the umd. That is why having the umd in the drive allows the game to run.
