    I think if you did the nuspacker way you would. Unless you do it like how Wuigi did. If you have the dlc installed you'd need to sig-patch anyway though I think.

    You could pull the files via wupserver or ftpiiu or you can decrypt the downloaded files on your computer and patch and repack them with nuspacker. Nuspacker needs the wiiu common key to repack them in a way wupinstaller will work for.

    If you're booting straight into hbl launcher from haxchi I don't think patches are enabled. I could be wrong but don't you need to boot into sig-patched cfw and then load hbl? Cause that might be the problem.

    Have a copy of the game on your computer, decrypt the files with jnustool, repack them with nuspacker, and install with wupinstaller. That's what I did. Cause ftpiiu kept crashing. Edit: oh yeah and patch the files before you repack. My bad

    It's because sysnand and rednand are linked. If you don't want to reinstall all your USB games just move them to a folder or something.

    vwii will be fine, 5.5.1 is the best firmware to be on currently, loadiine should be fine. Though yes, there are many benefits to using the tik method instead. And yup disable dns blocking if you haven't and update.

    Three page dumpster fire. Anyway, about the rednand you shouldn't need it for dlc or region free as long as you use mocha or the latest haxchi. At this point rednand is more of just extra protection against doing something wrong and bricking. Cause a broken rednand sucks less than a broken sysnand.
