    It all relies to the micro-processor in the USB Cam. The micro-processor has all the protocols, IDs, permissions, etc. Then, to make it work in homebrew software, the homebrew software would either need to: - A) Get the encrypted data from micro-processor. - B) Reflash/Rewrite micro-processor...

    You would need the access to the protocols it uses, then build the homebrew app based on that. Since it's USB it shouldn't be hard unless the protocols are encrypted, which I'm guessing not because Don't have high hopes though, it's probably a 1MP cam.
