    I thought I followed that correctly, but I'll double check. Thank you for a the great tutorial btw. It was very informative and easy to follow.

    So I followed all the steps but now I can't boot into the homebrew menu. I've tried from the boot manager and from the cia. It just goes back to the boot manger.

    Isn't step 6 supposed to unlink it? The last thing I remember seeing was after it downgraded and it said it was going to reboot, I held 'L' and then nothing happened.

    I think it's dead. Tried to start with no sd card, tried recovery mode and nothing. Thanks for talking me through this though.

    I have menuhax and it boots directly to the homebrewmenu and then I select cfw from there. But I can't even get there now.

    I turned the 3DS off and on when it wouldn't restart after it rebooted after the downgrade. Doesn't that mean it's trying to boot into sysNAND?

    Is it possible to brick your n3ds around step 19 section 2 of https://github.com/Plailect/OTP/blob/master/New_3DS_Spider.md? Because I think I just did. Only the blue lights comes on and nothing else....

    Is it normal for it to fail over 10 times on step 16/17 of https://github.com/Plailect/OTP/blob/master/Old_3DS_Spider.md? I have an o3ds and I think it fails around the same CIA and the top screen goes black and the Nintendo error ('An error has occurred...') pops up on the bottom screen. Edit...
