Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

@Robz8 thanks so much for continuing to work on TWMenu. I am still updating it on both my DSi and DSi LL units, and it works fantastic. I love being able to take the same card back and forth between systems (I carry the regular DSi, play the DSi LL @ home) and have all my saves etc in the same...

Homebrew Is there a way to emulate The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Aventures Aniversery Edition?

Seriously, a hacked DSi XL is pretty much heaven. Running hundreds of games off the SD card on an IPS screen at original resolution...

Awesome to see more development happening for the DSi. :D

Translation [Release][Final] Nora and the Time Studio: The Witch of the Misty Forest - Translation Project

Since I don't know the language, I have nothing to offer but encouragement...but I have lots of that! Good luck and keep at it...I know I for one would be hugely interested in being able to play this title in English!

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

If anyone else has had issues getting Summon Night X - Tears Crown english patched version to play on Twilight Menu++, I recommend this merged translation and AP patch: https://gbatemp.net/threads/summon-night-x-tears-crown-translation.484998/page-4#post-8664020 I had to locate a clean version...

    Homebrew GBARunner2

In the first release of TWMenu I had tried, clicking on the icon in the lower right took you straight to the ROM selection menu. Then in a later release, it changed to be the manual and I was like "WTF? This is cool, but now I have to see it every time???" Then I asked the question here and...

You aren't alone. It happened to me with hitting B at the Twilight Menu Classic Menu.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I guess what I'm saying is that it doesn't matter that the firmware/interface is language-locked to Japanese, because you're bypassing it completely. Not exactly the same as making it region-free in terms of the games, but more...removing any reason I might have previously had for preferring a...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Effin' fantastic, man. Considering you can get a good-condition used DSi from Japan for less than $15 shipped, and a 32 GB SD card costs less than $7 at Wal-Mart, you can pretty much be up and running for ~$20. I absolutely love how Twilight Menu++ makes the system region-free, basically...

    Homebrew GBARunner2

If I understand the general gist of the technology correctly, you wouldn't really expect GBARunner2 to have save states because it's not really an emulator, right? It's more just a layer of code that helps expose the correct parts of the already-existing, carried-forward-from-the-GBA hardware...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Apologies in advance if I should create a new topic for this, but I didn't want to spam the boards if this is an acceptable place to ask. I'm thinking of getting a DSi for a friend and installing Twilight Menu++ on it so we can do some multiplayer stuff. However, I remember from my days...

I realize this may be annoying n00b territory, but...in layman's terms, what does this mean?

Homebrew DS(i) NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Yeah, I'll second Cave Story...if you have a DSi or DSi XL, it looks great on that screen. Anything by Circle Entertainment is worth at least looking at...they did a series of arcade-y / platform-y / action-y kind of games for the DSi shop that may contain a few gems for you. Look up the G.G...
