    Yes you can trim Warioware D.I.Y I would suggest it is worth doing for this Rom (128MB before trim and only 16MB after) I use NDS Tokyo Trim not difficult to find if you don't already have. In answer to your second point yes the game will create a 32MB nds.sav file. There you go the first game...
