Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Has anyone found a way to fit the rp2040 zero into the lite without de-soldering the usb-c port or hacking up the metal heatspreader/shield? Ive heard of people leaving the buttons on, but as for the port, I haven't seen anything. Is it just impossible? Also. are there any locations people tend...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

As I mentioned in my other posts earlier in the thread, I already fixed that but I didn’t get pictures of the repair. What I’m referring to is using the far alternate point so I won’t disturb the bridge I made. Or worse, rip the pad that’s left.

Opps! sorry for not clarifying. The pad that I repaired was cmd. Thanks for the dat0 point though, I'll keep it in mind. Have you ever used this other point for cmd though in the included picture? I used the pcb scan to follow the trace backwards (or forwards, lol) . Do you think it would be...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Good news, I was able to bridge the tiny dot to the other pad with a strand of wire I had used for the mod. The console works like normal, except for some flickering of the screen when the charger is plugged in. It might be some flux that flooded into the screen’s connector since it’s right next...

Nice graphic. Do think I’ll be lucky enough to revive it? I’ve read people scratch the board to expose more copper but I’m not sure if the same can be done with this trace. As for trying the the mod again, probably not soon because of my subpar materials and tools, probably my skills too 😂. I...

abal100x, thanks for confirming that they need to be connected, I wasn’t sure if they connected underneath. Do you have any idea whether this broken trace would create the issues I’m experiencing? Or is it something unrelated?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hello. Newbie here. I did a pico installation on a lite switch (using the v2 cable). It work fine and would boot into hekate. The issues started a couple hours later when running a atmosphere fusee payload. It would freeze inside the cfw, then when launching atmosphere and started giving me a...
